The test shall be conducted with a horizontal test piece arrangement. The test method permits the testing of all materials and parts of the vehicle interior fittings individually or in combination with each other up to a thickness of 13 mm. It serves to evaluate the uniformity of production batches of Specific materials with regard to their burning behaviour.
